I traveled to Lima in November 2018 when I met Jean Paul, he was my tour guide for the day. The driver picked me up at my hotel and the first stop was the Chorrillos’s fish market by a pier, there you can observe the local people working and how fresh the seafood is, nice experience (look my photos). After that, we visited a local food market e i ate many fruits I’ve never tried before. We had lunch there, local food (all was included on the tour price). Our tour finished in a bohemian neighborhood called “Barranco” with a lot of art murals, cool place. So I had a great experience! Jean Paul is an amazing guide, he is a Peruvian lover, knows a lot about his culture and make you enjoy it! Highly recommended!

Jean Paul was a pleasure to meet. He has a degree in history and was able to answer every random question I could think of! He took us to Pachacamac and then gave us a tour of Lima. He was kind, happy, knowledgeable and flexible as our interests changed throughout our tour. He speaks very good English and Spanish and was able to do our entire tour bilingually addressing both languages so that all party members could enjoy. By the end of the tour we called him our friend and told him that we would contact him for any tour we did in the future, including ones outside of Peru which he was willing to do if it worked out. Our goal is to return when our children are older and have him take us into the Amazon Jungle near Yurimaguas!

The Nazca lines were high on our list of things to see in Peru. Our day tour with Jean Paul ensured that we were not disappointed. He provided a well organised and interesting tour so we could sit back and just enjoy ourselves and the sights. The dune buggy ride and sandboarding were also great fun.

Jean Paul was our guide on our tour of the Yellow Stairs built on the outskirts of Lima where the less fortunate people live. We were driven to this location after pickup at our Hotel with Jean Paul as our tour guide. We arrived at this location, and, he showed us through the market where the locals shop for fruit, vegetables, etc. We bought some fruit with his urgings, and, then climbed the yellow stairs being aware of how these less fortunate people live. We distributed our bought fruit to some of the people living here which was quite heartwarming for us. Jean Paul was very articulate in his ability to make us be aware of the poverty that was here. We were not rushed, and, was very polite and courteous to us throughout the tour. Jean Paul is very educated and speaks excellent English & Spanish. Since our visit...

We came to Peru to surf but wanted to get a historical understanding of the land before we embarked on our epic surf trip. We decided the easiest way to get this understanding would be a tour and a tour of Pachacamac, which is a temple on the outskirts of Lima. Our tour came with a pickup at our hotel and we asked if they wouldn't mind taking us to our next destination after the tour and he agreed for no extra charge. The minute we met Jean Paul outside our hotel we knew this tour would be great. The ride to Pachacamac was filled with so much information about Lima, we felt like we had been in the city for days (we had only been there for a few hours). Jean Paul clearly knew the history of the city and the land. Once we got to Pachacamac, it just...
